Update November 20, 2017:
- Players can now see which band member is online.
- There is a new game mode.
- XP 5 and up players can now change their name in the game once.
Of course the most excited part I want to check out is the new game mode. The devs also shared that they are working on a new Brawl Talk. We will check that out soon. Another good update is you can now see which band member is online or idle for a long time. This will help big time in band management. No Halloween Event
Let us start with this minor update. Adding a few Halloween-themed borders, items, or even skins are not available this year for Brawl Stars. It is not because they are not in a festive mood but they are focusing more on the core mechanics of the game.
A redditor named Buper_Duper asked the team if there will be a mini Halloween update for limited edition skins etc. Surprisingly, the team replied:
Probably not =\ We’d love to do these in the future, but right now we need to focus on the core game. – Brawl Stars dev team

Brawl Stars Next Update – Speculation
Alright, now we have the no Halloween event out of the bag, we’ll go next to their most awaited update. We got the last big update in September 2017 and with it, they introduced two new brawlers, Brawl Ball, and a revamped Shop. Although, we still don’t have any idea what is included in the next update we found a speculation running around Brawl Stars Reddit:
It’s been nearly two months since the Tara/Pam update. Last we heard, the time frame was 3+ months per update, but a lot can change in a month. This may just be wishful thinking, but I’ve been seeing signs that an update is on the horizon. Firstly, SC has been a lot more active lately, which often happens before updates. Secondly, we’ve been begging for balance changes for a while now, and the only reason I could think of for SC to hold back on them is to have them coincide with an update. Finally, I’ve been getting weird lag spikes lately, and the servers sometimes get a bit clunky before an update. Who knows, maybe this is just confirmation bias, but I feel like there may be an update in the near future, especially given that SC usually likes to update on the first Monday of the month, which is approaching quickly. Hopefully the update drops within the next week or so, or at least some good balance changes. – Som3SillyName

Looking back, Brawl Stars had their first major update on July 3rd 2017. With it came Piper and the new El Primo skin El Rey. On September 5th 2017, their second major update, they introduced Tara and Pam. If we’re going to base the date of the next update from their previous updates, they do major updates every two months.
The honest truth is that we’re not sure when the next update will be ready! It definitely will not be October. We’ve got lots of new things cooking and that means it’ll take extra time to develop them. That being said, we plan to release another Brawl Talk video before Update time so that everyone can be ready for what’s coming. – Brawl Stars dev team
So when is the next update?
There’s something new coming in Brawl Stars! The Update isn’t coming in November, but the team wanted to give a little sneak peek of one of the things we’re working on! Any guesses? – Brawl Stars Dev Team
I am expecting the next big update this December 2017. Hoping that it won’t take next year before it goes global. We don’t really want to kill the hype. Remember when all the big Youtubers are posting Brawl Stars? The game was pretty much at the peak of its hype and it died down because of #BrawlStarsAndroid. I have a hunch that this next update will also make Brawl Stars available for Android (crosses fingers). Nevertheless, we have to keep faith as the devs are hard at work in giving us the best experience in the game.
