July 18, 2017

In this Brawl Stars Elixirs Guide, we will present all information plus tips on how to spend your elixirs properly. Let’s brawl!

December 2017 Update:

The Brawl Stars team decided to remove Elixirs system in the game and replace it with a new Skill Tree. After the December 2017 major update, all Brawlers’ stats will reset to give way to a new kind of Elixirs called Tokens. This will give you the opportunity to redo and correct any buffing mistakes in the past. The current number of Elixirs you have before the update will be exchanged to Tokens at a 1:40 ratio.

Original Article:

Note: The article below is updated based on the changes in the September 12, 2017 Balance Update.

What’s up guys, Itchy Monkey here! In this article, I’ll give you some tips about Brawl Stars Elixirs and how can you spend them wisely.

Even though these Elixirs (one elixir that is) are a common commodity inside Brawl Boxes, you can never really quench your thirst for more. These elixirs are what you need to upgrade your Brawlers.

Brawl Stars Elixirs

In order to make your Brawlers brawl better than others, you need to upgrade them. These Elixirs are like power juices. You need to choose which stats you’re going to beef-up. It can be on his or her HP, ATK, or Super. You can not just put all your elixirs into his/her ATK, you need to know which stat is the priority.

You will need 1 Elixir to upgrade a stat to level 2, 2 Elixirs to level 3 and so on. The max stat is at level 6. I would suggest keeping your Elixirs until you unlocked an Epic or Legendary but some players have a lot of money err Elixirs to spend. Here are the tips starting from common units to legendary brawlers.

As a free Brawler in the game, Shelly is acing every event in Brawl Stars. She has a good long and wide range, easy to use, and free! Upgrading her Buckshot attack is a priority as her HP and Super are already good as is. By maxing out her ATK, she can deal tremendous damage up close. Shelly will certainly make them eat her bullets!

Even at 600 HP, his health is the least of his priorities. Colt is a long range Brawler that means, he usually stays behind a tank or away from the crazy mid area. Prioritizing his ATK first will give him more punches during events. Make sure to still stay far from the action though.

Brock the missile sniper also gives the least attention to his HP. He is a ranged Brawler just like Colt but his Super is prioritized more than his ATK. Rocket Rain, his super, is extremely useful in matches. You can count on it during Showdown matches. I won first place in using this against two El Primos fighting for supremacy but Brock won!

As Dynamike is mainly a support unit, his attack is the priority. He can deal a good amount of damage if his two dynamites hit! This can be a pretty solid attack in all events (yes, also in showdown). His super, Big Barrel o’ Boom comes in second. This can shut down the wall guarding the safe or blast the remaining two Brawlers in Showdown!

The El Primus Prime! As a melee attack and a tanker, his HP should be on point. At max HP of 1625 he can definitely be a beast in all events. Next is his attack to finish his foes faster and making the team safe again. His super is at last as you don’t normally use it much and it’s there as a getaway or as an AoE Damage.

As a rare unit, Bull‘s boom stick is better than Shelly’s. He also has a chunky HP too. But yeah, Shelly’s Super is definitely better. This is why for Bull, prioritize his ATK first and then his HP and last is his Super. To be honest, his Bulldozer is usually used as a getaway more than for offense.

Ricochet has the farthest range in the game. His bullets can reach those tight spots and those recovering Brawlers at the other side of a wall. Since he doesn’t charge in action, make use of his bouncing bullets and make it more powerful! Same as his Super as these can pierce through opponents and continue bouncing.

Barley has that irritating damage per second. As long as the opponent stays within his toxic blanket, he’s going to melt them away. We prioritized his ATK first. This is to chip away other Brawlers’ health faster. Next is his super as it is already good as is if you time your deployment. Last is health as he is ranged and needs to be away from all the fighting.

Poco‘s main role is a healer. Prioritizing his health will make him tanky enough to fill his Super gauge. He can also help in chip damage as the range of his attack is the widest of all Brawlers. After his HP is his Super. This can heal him plus his teammates.

You may want to focus on Bo‘s ATK first. He shoots three arrows and that deals 80 DMG each. Maxing it to 100 DMG can make him quite a ranged Brawler. Next is his super. It can already deal 300 DMG per trap and he throws 3 traps for each super. That is a total of 1200, enough to kill Bull. As a ranged troop, he doesn’t really need a chunky HP.

Pam also known as Mama J is a great support unit. She is there to keep everybody in tip top shape so her Super is your top priority in spending those precious elixirs. Second is her HP, you want her to tank and get as many hits as possible so she can recharge her healing station.

This Mythic Brawler, Tara is great with her tarot cards. In fact, she is so good that she can pierce through her opponents. Her main attack is your priority as her “piercing cards” is what makes her a Mythic rarity. We put her Super as her last as she can still pull them together and attack with her Triple Tarot to finish them off.

Mortis has the shortest range of all Brawlers. This is after the game’s dev team decided that his dash is way too long. He now has to be as close as possible to his victims. In Smash & Grab events, he also has to have enough HP to get and keep those gems for the team.

Another ranged Epic Brawler who is making a name for herself in Bounty events. You might want to spend your elixirs to her attack first. I know it is already powerful at max dealing 460 DMG but investing on her ATK will also raise her close range damage. Next is her super that is quite deadly if a player tries to get to know her up close.

Invest on Spike‘s attack first followed by his super. This will increase his chance of killing his target. If he/she manages to survive his spikes, he will then throw his super to make them move very slow. This is a perfect opportunity to release more spikes!

Crow‘s attack is pretty meager at 80 DMG per dagger but its poison is what really makes it OP. This will render his foes inability to regenerate. Next is his HP and last is his super. His super is more like a getaway too.

With this information available, you don’t need to spend those elixirs aimlessly. Make sure to follow through this guide to make those precious elixirs count and according to priority. Good luck brawler!
